Just energy ##### stay away. They swamp low income neighborhood with canvesser promising low bills. Don't fall for it ask ?. Is this a one or two year contract, will I be charged a delivery charge, will customer service lie to me
Just energy has the worst costumer rating. They lie!

Bad collection practices
First they call and leave a message telling you your account is past due and leave a number for you to call. When you call the number you are told they cannot give you any information and that you have to call your electrical carrier.
My electrical carrier SCE told me it was a scam. So I looked up the main number which is in Canada and left a message. They returned my call, but the caller ID showed that it was some airline company so I did not answer. When I listened to the message it said they are returning my call and to call back. I told them of my issue and that SCE said it was a scam and that their number coming up as an airline instead of Just Energy did not help matters. They responded by saying they did not know why it comes up as that and that it has been that way for quite a while, and that they will look into it. Really??? What major reputable company would let something like that slide???
They said they would send me some documentation to back up their claims. It took almost two weeks to send it via email.
Back to SCE...they finally found that I was using Just Energy in addition to SCE as they use green Technology to produce electricity and that my contract with them had been cancelled the year before!
There was money due apparently, but to wait a year to tell me and threaten me with collections because it is so late is ridiculous. In the email they started sending 3x a week to remind me that I owe them money there is an online payment system (wont take your account number), I call in to customer service, My card wont process, (probably because they are in India or Pakistan). They transfer me..25 minutes on hold, I hung up.
I did send a few payments via snail mail address on there almost daily emails. I get a letter from them saying that is the wrong address and gave me the correct address to pay. I mention to customer service that they are still emailing several times a week with the wrong address. They do not have an answer for me.
Whatever you do ...DO NOT GET MIXED UP WITH JUST ENERGY!

Waiting for my refund
The sales reps of Just Energy were going door-to-door selling their services. The rep was very thoroug in explaining their service to me and told me that their service will replace PG&E that I will be paying only $16.99 a month and can use all the gas and as much as I want and my bill not increase at all. Also, I will not see from PGE annymore; all bills will be coming from Just Energy. Being on disability, I thought it was a great deal and it would help save $$$ on a monthly basis. Being on a fixed income, every penny makes a difference to people like us. Upon receiving my first bill in November from PGE, the total amount was Just Energy portion of 16.99 and PGE monthly amount. I contacted PG&E and was told that they had nothing to do with Just Energy and their services and that I will have to continue to pay PGE what they bill on a monthly basis, in addition to whatever else Just Energy bills me. I called Just Energy and besides being extremely rude and unprofessional, I was told to just ignore the portion of the Just Energy billing and continue to pay PGE. I told him that's not how it works and I have to pay the entire bill. His response was "I don't know what to tell you". Asked to speak to a supervisor, none was available. Left my name and # for a call back, nothing. Asked to cancel my account and he said he couldn't and a supervisor has to do it!!! Nothing happened! Called a few more times, no response. In March I called again and had to make threats of reporting them to FTC, BBB and my local channel and finally they cancelled my account and also for a refund for all the months I had paid them. On March 20, 2019, I received a cancellation letter from Mark Eddings, Sr. VP, Regional General Mngr. I sent them another letter on July 2, 2019 asking for my refund because what they did was so very wrong and didn't deliver what was promised and misled everyone about their service, To date have not heard a word from them. This company is a big fruad and crooked and their reps are just as crooked and unethical. After everything that I have gone through, they sent me an email "You just got 500 Perks points"! and asked for a survery and how they are doing!!!! This is the complaint sent to FTC
